What is Mysore you ask? It is the traditional and ideal way of learning Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as taught by the late Sri K Pattahbi Jois of Mysore, India and currently by his grandson, R. Sharath Jois of Mysore, India.
From beginner to seasoned practitioner the student learns how to link movement and breath via a series of postures taught with intelligence, compassion, kindness, and often times humor. The student is met by the teacher wherever they are and the results are electric & transformative. Over time, clarity & focus of mind, ease of body movement & processes, and a deep state of contentment & peace in the heart develop.
When practicing regularly we continually reconnect to the true nature of our being, releasing long held mental, emotional, and physical patterns that may be hindering our growth and keep us suffering.
